Audra Saunders

With over 35 years of dedicated practice, Audra Saunders embodies the deeply transformative and therapeutic power of yoga. She stepped onto the mat at age 14, launching a lifelong journey that evolved into a passionate teaching career by age 28. Now in her mid-50s, Audra’s personal practice has beautifully matured, anchoring her work firmly in the art of energetic and somatic healing.

Audra is the creator and facilitator of “Bliss Yoga,” a specialised, inclusive therapeutic training designed for teachers and therapists. Her expansive experience spans three and a half decades of holding space for diverse populations—including first responders, seniors, pre- and post-natal mothers, and individuals navigating chronic conditions or disabilities. A respected voice in the community, she has shared her deep wisdom at the Australasian Yoga Therapy Conference and through numerous advanced educational workshops. Audra’s mission is simple yet profound: to share the enduring, heart-centred passion of yoga therapy to help others heal, adapt, and thrive.
